Fair Use Policy

1.0 About this policy

This policy governs the YumTable service (the Service) provided by Madewell Enterprises Pty Ltd (Madewell). It is designed to ensure that we can provide quality services to all of our clients and no clients are disadvantaged by the behaviour of others.

2.0 Where does fair use apply?

To make the Service as flexible and friendly as possible we do not impose fixed limits on how the Service is used. For example, there is no forced limitation on the number of times a booking can be made, or the number of special offers a restaurant can make.

3.0 Excessive use

If you are an excessive user of our Services beyond the expectations of a reasonable client, we may ask you to reduce your use of our Service. If usage continues at an excessive level following this request we may refuse your access to the Service or cancel your access to the Service or take actions which will limit or prevent your use of some element of the Service. We may also charge you fees for excessive usage at our discretion.

4.0 What does excessive mean?

Excessive use includes anything which can reduce the performance of the Service, including but not limited to using a computing device to request information at a rate which is not humanly possible or trying to post bookings at a very rapid rate.

5.0 Unreasonable use

If your use of the Service puts unreasonable load on the Service, we will ask you to modify your use of the Service. If usage continues to be unreasonable following this request we may refuse you access to the Service or take actions which will limit or prevent your use of some element of the Service. We may also charge you fees for unreasonable usage at our discretion.

5.1 What does unreasonable use mean?

Unreasonable use includes anything which we consider is not an intended use of the Service or actions which may harm the experience of other users. For example, making bookings without any intention of visiting the restaurant, repeatedly missing bookings which have been made, posting restaurant offers which are not honoured or posting incorrect or invalid restaurant details would all be considered unreasonable uses.

6.0 Is there anything else?

This policy is in place to protect you. Thankfully the vast majority of our clients are wonderful and we are grateful that you have chosen to use the Service. Thank you! This policy was last updated on 1 September 2010.
