YumTable is the first site that provides restaurants and hungry customers with last minute restaurant table bookings. Like any other last minute website, most restaurants on YumTable will provide some offer with every booking for a chance to impress new customers.

How do you ensure bookings for hungry customers?

We know that both customers and restaurants have phones, so we use SMSs to notify restaurants of a customer's booking, and confirm the booking to the customer by SMS as well. Because the restaurant has control of their offers, number of tables allocated per offer, and the times they are available, they can put forward attractive deals to attract customers at the times they need them most.

Do I have to tell the restaurant about the special offer when I arrive?

The restaurant will know the booking and special offer was from YumTable, and should have noted it on their booking system - but it also doesn't hurt to say "I had a booking through YumTable".

Does YumTable cost anything?

YumTable is free for hungry customers to use on the website or iPhone. Restaurants get 10 free Table Bookings by SMS to try out YumTable for themselves - after this they can purchase more Table Bookings easily from as little as $1.60 to $2.00 per table, not per customer.
